You have already proven that you cannot make a knowledgeable and prudent decision under the law."

And then: "If you are a non-Christian Arab or Muslim, I will not teach you the class with no shame; I am Crockett Keller, thank you, and God bless America."

The guy is an idiot, but I support his right to choose. Furthermore, why is it that government tries to force people, at gunpoint, to associate and do business with those that they find distasteful? This guy is the perfect idiot to make national news that appeals to the lowest common denominator. While everyone is weeping and gnashing teeth about something as meaningless as this, the TSA is conducting warrantless searches on our highways, the president is reviewing his list of American citizens that he wants to kill with no due process, the banks and their corporate/Congress cronies are raping us all, people are losing their homes, FEMA camps are being built, the dollar is collapsing, The TSA is molesting kids at the airports, the US military is drone bombing innocent civilians to death in the Middle East, cops are summarily executing people on the roadsides. My point is that there is a whole lot of stuff that actually affects ALL OF US out here that we should be concerned about. Not stupid bullcrap like this.

I have no love or hate for the police but this seems a bit off the deep end unless you can support it with facts.  We all know that facts are stubborn things.

Looks like he is excluding all Arabs who are not Christians.  No Jewish Arabs allowed...or any other religion but Christian.

I do wonder if his statement might be punctuated like this:

"If you are a non-Christian, Arab or Muslim, I will not teach you the class with no shame; I am Crockett Keller, thank you, and God bless America."

It seems more likely that he would exclude all non-Christians, not just those who are also Arabs.

This guy goes way beyond just being stupid, "The fact is, if you are a devout Muslim, then you cannot be a true American," last time I checked the US was founded on religious freedom, not Christian only freedom.

Yes, he has the right to refuse to train an individual but not an entire population.

Well, maybe not legally, but he should have the right to refuse service to whom he chooses.  Unless, some how, he is funded by the government or given a "monopoly" by the government or due to the type of service....public emergency rooms, for instance.

My point was that if he is making restrictions on personal choice, we should be aware of exactly what  he finds objectionable  so that we will be able to decide to support, or not support, him and his beliefs with our patronage.

He has every right to refuse services to anyone as long as he is a private business.  You may not like it but that's not the point.

The government has no right to tell you how to run your business with the exception of taxes, safety etc...

The fact that they've been doing just that the last thirty or forty years has no bearing on their lawful right to interfere.  We've allowed the government to become the moderator when a minority complains too loudly.

Let me play the devil's advocate for a moment.

Would you train someone that you may meet on opposite sides of the field of battle?

I know brother fought brother in the civil war and families, friends and soldiers have fallen on opposite sides of battles but would you train a member of a gang?

Not that all of the people he cites are going to bear arms against us but he may feel that it is a strong enough possibility that he would rather lose business.

That is an exactly true statement J.
For a truly devout Muslim the precepts of their religion and and the fundamental basis of American society are mutually exclusive.
Lets take every one is equal for example, Try telling Danica Patrick she can't drive a car because she's a "mere woman".
America was built by people who took the world in their hands and turned it upside down, (The name Steve Jobs ring a bell ? )
Islam ? The very word translates as "submission".
If this guy wishes to avoid training people who can't or won't except the duties placed on them by the founders then I say more power to him.
