CS Nationals
« on: November 03, 2011, 07:53:20 AM »
i know I have not been about much  had a lot on

however though I would mentioned ( toot my own horn)

couple of weeks ago I competed in my first ever Nationals

when I can get some Pics I will post some   as i did not get many  due to the fact that I was also one of the RO's for the event as well as shooting my self,

good news though I got 1 bronze medal and am so stoked at that I got it on a count back as well :)

there was some amazing shooters there as well as some amazing rifles,  was very cool to see some original as issued .303 sniper rifles.

Here’s to the crazy ones. The misfits. The rebels. The troublemakers. The round pegs in the square holes. The ones who see things differently. They’re not fond of rules. And they have no respect for the status quo. You can praise them, disagree with them, quote them, disbelieve them, glorify or vilify them. The only thing you can’t do is ignore them

lol I did not word that well ;)  and thanks mate :)

I mean competing as well

I have shot in State and club matches before, never at that level though,
the Bronze was for the 300m deliberate match,  using my 1918 Lee Enfield .303, ( so it can still shoot hehe )

I found a couple of pics and a vid I got during the 15m rapid fire match.

also if you are interested the Range is the SSAA Monarto Range complex here in South Aust,  it is a large range and we have had 2 world black powder championships there. they were massive shoots. ( i was at the last one  )

so what par is this match ?? a No3, No4 or a No5  ( they were all .303's in the bag ) hehe

I've always wondered why anyone would waste such a perfectly good bag by storing golf clubs in it.    ;D

Makes a great covert gun case.  Plenty of space for ammo and accessories.  Get one with a cover over the top and you can take it almost anywhere.  Carry it through a hotel lobby without a second glance...no matter how much it rattles.
