Nope, not canceled, at least here.
F-35B just finished up carrier suitability on a Gator and F-35C was just doing catapult certification. 

The AF just received thier fiirst "production" F-35A at Eglin to begin building up the training squadron.

Other countries have waivered a bit and the Brits canceled most of theirs.  It's a program to "big to fail."  We can't use Hornets and Eagles forever, as much as some would want you to believe.  It has its merits and is definately VERY capable, but LMAC was given way to much leeway by the government.  Then the requirements started to creep (as it does with everything these days) and the costs went to crap.  Oh by the way the engine is so big that they can't get spares on curent Nimitz carriers.  It won't fit in the COD (C-2A) and is to heavy to cross deck using current UnRep equipment.  Right now it can only be slung under CH-53s and V-22s which limits the ability to get extras on the boat.
...and DAMN that thing is BLOODY LOUD!!!!  I see the B and C models in the pattern chasing V-22s all day long.
