Need help from rossi lever gun owners.

As of today I can pick up my .44mag but the .357 never made it in. I guess there is some kind of back order on the .357 carbines. So instead i got a really nice Eddystone 1917. I know its not a Mauser but it work on the same principles and 30-06 is one hell of a cartridge.

Many WWI veterans considered it a better rifle than the Springfield because it had better sights.
