No? Well yes, it’s November 19th. But it’s also National Ammo Day. What – you don’t have that marked on your calendar? Yeesh. Don’t worry, you don’t have make a big political statement or anything. All you have to do is get out to your friendly local retailer and pick up at least 100 rounds of food for your bangstick. As if you really needed an excuse to buy more ammo, right?

Now I know you know the answer to the age-old question: How much ammo is enough? Answer: MORE. It doesn’t matter how much ammunition you have, you always need more. So lift those sofa cushions, brush aside the Dorito and potato chip crumbs and mine that upholstery for all the spare shekels you can muster.

Brand, caliber, grains, FMJ, JHP…none of that really matters. Just get yourself some. And since it’ll be a Saturday, why not head right out and send a good portion of those minty fresh projectiles downrange?

Can I take a carry class instead?

My Minnesota permit is expiring in January, and I am registered to take a class Saturday.

Sorry, can't do Sat. opening morning of gun deer season and my favorite gun is closed on Sat. However on the bright side I bought a box of .38spl reloads for the wife's .357 today.

I Payed it Forward today with 300 rounds of CCI Mini Mags to break in the Walther P22 I picked up a couple weeks ago.  I'll be too busy Saturday with silly work stuff.

Did my part.  Picked up 600 rounds for the handguns.  Now I see how woefully lacking my rifle cache is.  It just never ends.

 Rats, I missed it but Thursday I reloaded 500 9mm and Friday 250 45acp so since I spent $180 on components this week I think I got it covered.
