The same is true in reverse. In '08 I and a whole lot of moderates, and or, non GOP koolaid drinkers turned out to vote No and Hell No! We were sick of W., Cheney and the Neo-Cons. We would have (probably did) vote for Donald Duck. Then there was the liberal base, the anti-war real socialists. They thought BO was the Messiah. Guess what? We were both disappointed. As much as you lot try to make BO into the anti-Christ, he isn't. He's just like W. and Carter, a guy who got in over his head and fubared it. The true believers think he sold them out because he wasn't pure enough (sound familiar? ::)). The one's who voted "No" realized we bought a defective product.  The true believers are feeling betrayed and are in a snit (again, sound familiar?). The rest of us are just back to choosing between bad and worse. None of us are that motivated. You won't see the massive turnout for BO you did last time, nor will you see the massive influx of small contributions from folks who never opened their wallets before.
Frankly, I see it as a tie between BO and any reasonable GOP candidate, and Romney qualifies. Its going to come down to a game of who makes the last last mistake with a slight edge to the challenger, because no is exicited about anyone who is running. Just my .02.

The truth is you were a bunch of stupid people who were either to lazy or stupid to do basic due diligence or else you were idiots who listened to MoveOn.org,  Acorn, SEIU and the other Soros front groups.
You voted for a 1/2 term Senator who never committed himself to a position unless it was ultra left and had never actually done anything in his life except associate with communist domestic terrorists and black racists.
With a record like that you should not be allowed to vote, never mind expound your "educated" political thoughts.
Comes right down to it, idiots like you aren't worthy of a Republic, you are getting what you deserve.
Unfortunately you are dragging the rest of us down with you.

The only cure is blood.
The socialists, fools, and drones are to deeply entrenched to be removed by a popularity contest.

And you think we (whomever "we" are) will win why? Get serious Tom, what do we do in 2012?

PS You do realize you have the whole Bin Laden thing going on here right? We got into this mess through several elections. We can, and will get out the same way.

Unfortunately, that is highly unlikely to be the case.  Voting for the lessor of two evils retains evil.  And, while I believe Tom is correct that the way to save our republic requires blood, I do not believe enough of the sheeple will be willing to do what it will take.  Our fellows will stand around with a "let Mikey do it" attitude until it is entirely too late.  It may be already,  So, we will see a continued descent into tyranny and ultimately into slavery.

History demonstrates the average "lifespan" of a democracy (yes, I know we are  republic) tends to be around 200 years.  We have beaten the average.  If we don't manage to blow ourselves up, we may just p-c ourselves into a caliphate.

Either way, freedom is screwed.

I sat in a room last night with 10 people, 7 of which are completely clueless of the condition of this country!  Thankfully, my daughter and I can hit what we're aiming at but the others will be a burden on us for their survival.

At least I've convinced those that supported the pupped in the White House to rethink their position in 2012.  It remains to be seen if they will do their homework.

Doubtful, they will either vote for who you say, Romney because he has "nice hair", or Paul and throw the election to BO.

have you all ready ran out of rope ??
Here’s to the crazy ones. The misfits. The rebels. The troublemakers. The round pegs in the square holes. The ones who see things differently. They’re not fond of rules. And they have no respect for the status quo. You can praise them, disagree with them, quote them, disbelieve them, glorify or vilify them. The only thing you can’t do is ignore them
