Inside Job
« on: December 14, 2011, 05:45:39 AM »
Do yourselves a favour and watch it !!!!!   If you don't find yourself pretty pissed off and cranky there's something wrong with you.

These filthy Wall Street Bankers all need to be charged, prosecuted and go to gaol , however, not one of them has faced a court to this date and the entire bunch of these arseholes have kept every single dollar they ripped off from the entire world. Greedy Pricks
Obummer was going to track 'em down and deal with 'em. He sure did, he tracked 'em down alright and then he employed most of the thieving turds.

Here’s to the crazy ones. The misfits. The rebels. The troublemakers. The round pegs in the square holes. The ones who see things differently. They’re not fond of rules. And they have no respect for the status quo. You can praise them, disagree with them, quote them, disbelieve them, glorify or vilify them. The only thing you can’t do is ignore them

Three words explain it all:  Sub-Prime Mortgage Loans.  Instituted by Jimmy Carter and exploited by the Clinton Administration.

Someone needs to find the Barney Frank clip where he says there is nothing wrong with Freddy or Fannie.

Government intervention into the free market never works.

Sorry Phil but though some of it may be true, it's narrated by Matt Damon, Actor, Socialist, loudmouthed POS from the center of political corruption, Boston, MA.  It loses all credibility after seeing that!  Kind of like Al Gore and global warming..

It's purely propaganda for the leftists...it's not a crime to make a profit regardless of how shady it appears.

Magoo hit the nail on the head.  It's the political corruption that's at the root of all of this countries ills.

How about Congressional (legal) insider trading? I wonder when RP knew, not that he ever gained from the practice himself...
Was this ever illegal, or was it sanctioned by some Banking Committee within our memories?
Just a thought...

I believe that they're trying to end the practice now!  Certainly raises some questions about the fox guarding the hen house though!

That's a real question, though... When did this become okay in the first place?

Same time that the congresscritters thought it ethical to vote themselves huge raises I'd expect.

Just seeing the people they were talking to, including George Soros. It's a hit piece against Wall street. Why is it so hard to understand that the stock markets are a driving force in our economy? Admittedly, they have made trading very complicated and convoluted. Being able to leverage, and short selling. Things of that nature. It used to be that you simply bought a stock and the performance of that company determined whether or not you made money. Unfortunately company performance is a very small factor in stock prices these days. Which is most of the reason for the huge swings we see in the market. However, you show your ignorance by blaming the people that make their money through the market. They have rules that they have to play by, and it is congress that makes those rules. (And exempting themselves from them)

I wouldn't get my hopes up...check out this link.
I haven't gone through the whole thing but insider trading has been going of for a loooooong time.

From the link:

The career of [former US Congressman] Russell Sage is a prime example of chicanery combined with financial acuity... The period prior to the Civil War saw Sage engaged in many railroad deals, usually using his insider's knowledge gained in Congress to move in on deals at the appropriate time...
You can say lots of bad things about pedophiles; but at least they drive slowly past schools.
