Shooting Gallery is 100 episodes old. Michael takes you back to the beginning of Shooting Gallery, how it got started and shares some of stories being a producer and host of this popular show on the Outdoor Channel.

Hi Mike and thanks for listening.

On my wish list is a permission from the Outdoor Channel to stream this episode online either here on the SG section or on the channel's own web site. As of now, we do not have it, so the answer is no.  :(

Congratulations on 100 episodes.  In today's TV world, that number is a Big Deal.

Considering how much training information you present, has anyone accused you of telling tales out of school?  One thing I do not like about the firearm publications is that they keep information at a generic level.  I suspect they are squeamish about presenting material on gun handling that may be too instructive to the wrong people.  Hence we must endure yet another story of "9mm versus .45 ACP" or we learn (yet again) how the latest pistol on the market "just keeps perkin' along" or prints "groups the size of my hand."

In contrast, your show avoids these cliches while providing solidly instructional material on gun handling for the rest of us cannot afford to attend gun camp.  Also, you are to be congratulated on showing full-auto weaponry in all its glory without apology.  You started with the right idea of initiating a program grounded in the after-the-match conversations of what shooters would like to see.  Shooters have been talked down to for too long.  Thanks for raising the standard of discourse on the subject of firearms.
