Is it because Mike Seeklander was outside?
The audio quality was junk (to me) -

Rob's audio was never so "raw" sounding (again to me)
Also (for me) Mike Seeklander spoke too fast - his diction was hard to understand when he was on his back shooting between his knees - even though I watched it on both airings, I had a very hard time discerning whathesaidasitcameoutalltogetherinasingelsentance - for me.

Best of luck with the new season though.

Maybe it is just my life long exposure to loud cars (and engines of all types), shooting without hearing protection, and turning the stereo up loud enough nobody can hear me sing, but with my volume settings I didn't notice anything.

Enjoyed the show, and outside of getting used to a new personality it was great.  I have met MS in the past at ranges, so it wasn't a total shock to see or hear him.  The thing I noticed most but am not sure what it is is that MJ looked different.  I never figured it out, but it will probably be something like glasses or shaving and I will go Doh!

As an "audio professional", it sounded to me like the sound engineer had Mr. Seeklander's mic level set a bit too hot, causing some distortion, or over-driving, if you will.

Having his mic inside his collar and too close to his mouth didn't help.  Use a Tram and put it outside the collar please!
