Any of you guys Corvette or muscle car afficianados?

So I am killing time browsing Craig's List, when I find this:

http://stlouis.craigslist.org/cto/2746449087.html

Do you think he'd take a personal check?
 ;D ;D ;D

Here’s to the crazy ones. The misfits. The rebels. The troublemakers. The round pegs in the square holes. The ones who see things differently. They’re not fond of rules. And they have no respect for the status quo. You can praise them, disagree with them, quote them, disbelieve them, glorify or vilify them. The only thing you can’t do is ignore them

yeah, I wish I could better refine the search results for Craig's List.  It appears that dealing in Corvette parts is a cottage industry in itself, so I get a lot of false hits that way.  Arggh...

I like doing key word searches for Mustang, Camaro, GTO, and Nova.

Are there any other key words I should search for, muscle car wise?

Not to distract from the OP, but have you watched Barrett-Jackson? It will be on starting Tues, Jan 17th through the wrap up on the 22nd. Wanna drool over cars? Tune in starting Thrusday at the latest... It's on Speed Channel. If you don't have it, get it now.. I keep that channel just for that.. I wait all year for this.. January is in Scottsdale AZ, then there's another, shorter one the first week of April in Palm Beach, FL.
It's worth it. I promise..

PS. I think 80K is out of line without some documentation. Numbers matching? MANY questions to be answered before you do that..
Start here...

Vette pics? These are on the block at Barrett-Jackson, as of Sept..

Don't forget the 396 Chevelle SS.

The came in a color I described as Gun Metal gray...a dark gray that I loved.

And the Impala 409.....even a song written about this one   "409" by The Beach Boys.

Ah, the Impala with the 409 W-Heads......a bad ride..........would make a good "sleeper"...excellent HP/weight ratio.
When I was putting the 327ci SBC in my '82 S-10, the guy's shop we were using had a 1963 (I believe) Impala SS with the 409 on jack-stands doing a frame-off resto.

Had a friend in college, Dennis The Ex-Pig Farmer, who drove a 409 with the name  Lewd Lady on the rear fenders.

He complained about the gas mileage   :D :D

Is it just me or does anybody else seem to find that the arms just naturally go through the steering wheel of the 63 Impala, and rest there to drive?..

works like that with most cars driven sedately...

Kick her up to 90+ mph and you won't find casual steering wheel arm draping going on...and if it does, it won't last real long.  ;D
