A little "brag" time for the Rabbit
« on: January 04, 2012, 05:32:19 PM »
My ego tells me that some of you may have noticed I haven't been on the board much of late.  Actually, the reason is on December 9, Bunny and I left Florida in our motor home, bound for Arizona and California.

Reasons were several--Christmas with the folks, sister and her family; pending birth of my first grand daughter (really the big reason); and the fact that Bunny decided to retire.

Photo is from last Summer, but it (and Bunny) looks the same

Chuey helped with the driving.  Fortunately, I was at the helm when we blew a front tire at 55 outside of Sonora, Texas.  Managed to land the rig off the highway without rolling it, and called a mobile truck tire repair place who fixed it for what my first home cost.  Sheesh...

We stopped at the Alamo (Bunny had never seen it) and spent a few days in San Antonio (rainy, cold, not nice).

We enjoyed a couple of weeks in AZ, then on the 28th of December we headed to California and my very preggers daughter.

Looks "PhotoShopped" doesn't it.

Well the 30th, darling daughter presented us with Lily Jane.

The little girl is simply amazing.  She has so much hair it looks like she's wearing a wig.  And her fingers are long enough that daughter and husband should probably go ahead and order the piano.

This is what an extremely proud Grandpa looks like.

Of course, her two brothers are pretty proud, too.  And aren't they good looking kids?

Well, that's what I've been up to for the past month.  I'll try and stop by with a little more regularity in the next days and weeks.

FWIW,

Crusader Rabbit (with Bunny, Daughter Bunny (and her hubby), and L'i'l Bunny and the Boy Rabbits)

Even at a ball game, when someone talks during the anthem or doesn’t take off his hat, it pisses me off. I’m not one to be quiet about it, either.”  Chris Kyle

Congrats on the terrific family, and the home on wheels.

Enjoy this time of life, and let us know if you are traveling north Heaven knows it doesn't do any good for me to try and visit you!

Sweet CR!!!!!  All the best to you and the "additional" rabbits in the family.

Thomas Jefferson: The strongest reason for the people to keep and bear arms is, as a last resort, to protect themselves against the tyranny of government. That is why our masters in Washington are so anxious to disarm us. They are not afraid of criminals. They are afraid of a populace which cannot be subdued by tyrants."
Col. Jeff Cooper.

as highly as he speaks of the munchkin I would bet the look of terror would be from the realization that he will have to share.... some. hopefully he will get away with sharing the diaper part.. yuk.
Enjoy CR. if you're still there next summer we may see you.
