Full Metal Jacket

Gunnery Sergeant Hartman: I am Gunnery Sergeant Hartman, your senior drill instructor. From now on you will speak only when spoken to, and the first and last words out of your filthy sewers will be sir. Do you maggots understand that?
Recruits: Sir, yes sir!
Gunnery Sergeant Hartman: Bullshit I can't hear you. Sound off like you got a pair.
Recruits: SIR, YES SIR!

I see Equillibrium and Heat and some other really great movies listed here, but what about the mini-gun scene in Predator? THAT'S a shoot 'em up. Shootin' trees up!

What I think was cool is that he wasn't cast for the role, but was hired as a consultant for the film. After He performed a demonstration on videotape in which he yelled obscene insults and abuse for 15 minutes without stopping, repeating himself or even flinching - despite being continuously pelted with tennis balls and oranges...they replaced the originally cast actor with him.

To get it right thats not a role you can "act" when I first saw the movie I damned near went to attention and I was watching a DVD ;D  The set was perfect as well, Exactly like my sqaudbay 1st Bn. PI in 77, right down to the red painted floor.
