So I was watching America's Most Wanted...
« on: January 07, 2012, 01:39:56 AM »
....on Lifetime (should have been my first clue) and John is blasting away with a funny pistol with what looks like a Butlercreek mag for a 10/22 hanging out of it-cool!  Then he starts what sounded to me like a rant against magazine capacity because some thug was using one to rob people.  Changed the channel and won't go back.

No wonder Fox canceled him. ::)

The guy avenged his kid and put some bad guys in jail. He deserves props. But, he got into the hype, and just like MADD or the Brady Bunch will do what he can to stay in the spotlight. Too bad, but it shouldn't surprise anyone.

Walsh is a former cop, and like all political cops he has a vested interest in justifying the suppression of liberties.
If the US Gov wanted tried to destroy the 1st A they would bring out a primetime TV show,
"Farenhiet 451- Keeping young minds safe from bad thoughts".

I have watched AMW off and on for the last 20+ years because of his kid and the bad guys he's helped lock up.  I've seen him swerve dangerously close to the political aspect but never the SA, until now-when he's on Lifetime-the womans channel.  Its only a matter of time before your true colors show.

Correction:  He was never a cop, nor did he play one on TV.  He was a marketing guy for luxury hotels when his son went missing.

Not only was he denouncing high-cap mags, but at one point he referred to "semi-automatic submachine guns."  Even the wife said, "WTF?!?", at that point.     >:(

FQ,

Regardless of why he did it or some of his results, there is nothing that excuses stupidity  >:(

Do you give the same free pass and praise to Sarah Brady?  She could very easily start a television show that would show one or two good busts or stops because of her campaign.  No different.

I also believe that you are one that rants about the end not justifying the means when it comes to some of our nation's policies.  Consider that as you look at these issues.
If I appear taller than other men it is because I am standing on the shoulders of others.
