Romney
« on: January 09, 2012, 06:26:58 PM »
OK.  I've mostly stayed away from zeroing in on a candidate.  I will call a candidate a zero, however.  Romney is a RINO zero in my book.  He is what the established press and liberals want to run against.  Romney is the lesser of two evils (compared to Obama).

Newt has character failures and that matters to me.  He was not honest with past wives and that is more than bothersome.  However, I'm not ready to zero him out.  He is by far the most capable & intelligent candidate I've seen.

My thought is that Ron Paul's isolationism is narcissic.  Will Ron become more practical as President?  Pulling the troops back may sound good....but maintaining international bases for operations sounds better...I don't know where he stands on that.  We need international bases to maintain a supply chain to support possible future defense operations.

How about Ron Paul keeping Newt honest as President?

Romney is the Democrats "other" nominee.

Ronmey can't win (because McCain couldn't win)..
The Paulites will go to Obama or somewhere else, but most will NEVER forgive the GOP for not going along.
If Romney gets the nomination, WE will lose...

I'm generally in that camp that Romney will lose.  Had he the nod instead of McCain same result.  Now, I'm not so certain.

The establishment is once again covering their bets with their attempts to leave Romney as the "relief valve" for peoples anger and frustration.  A choice that will not be a choice.

Considering that Romney could not even beat John McCain, if he does win it will be the "Any one but BO" vote that does it.

Limbaugh mentioned that the Ken Doll, will have to be "pushed" to the Right, if he is serious about winning....Not run a McCain v.2.0.

Also observed, was "when did Republicans disapprove of capitalism?"....Newt's PAC, is running ads that are making Debbie Wasserman Schultz, and the Left, smile and chuckle....

After all this Primary mess, cluster**** is over, if the nominee is Romney, the Left is going to unleash over a BILLION DOLLARS worth of negative ads that will have us "Pulling an Elvis" against our TV's....

But with negative infighting among Republicans,,,,,the Left will save some money running "re-runs".....

We are so doomed... :-\

That is why our masters in Washington are so anxious to disarm us. They are not afraid of criminals. They are afraid of a populace which cannot be subdued by tyrants."
