Its Official, the Queen has spoken. I'm a gun fondler!

On a rainy night here in NC, watching Futureweapons, my wife, AKA "The Queen", came upstairs to what she calls " my world ", (The gun safe, bigscreen, guitars, old stereo which still jams, wine fridge), and caught me fondling (cleaning and routine maint.) guns I haven't shot in a while.

Pretty much had several spread out with the cleaning kit, that wonderful smell of Hoppe's and Rem Oil, and was accused of "FONDLING" my guns.

Tried to explain the necessity of working the actions, routine cleaning and lubrication, and how firearms are like women and like attention.

The look was classic from the Queen, ( wish I had a photo ) for which I would have been shot with one of my own and had a quite humorous obituary. She is a good shot with the Kimber Ultra CDP II .45 which she actually likes,...

Am I alone? Do I have an obsession? Maybe Marshall'ette can advise..

Please let me know..

I read a story about a woman (sorry M'ette) officer who went to investigate a 'haven't seen him in a while' kinda thing,

When she investigated, she found the old man dead in his chair with the TV on the military channel and a .45 in his hands.  He had died of natural causes, but she was puzzled by the scene!
