I am going .38spl (I know, I'm a wimp) - I have a pair of Ruger New Vaquaros, I am dealing on a Stoeger 12 ga Coach gun, and I really want an 1873, but they are like hen's teeth in .357.  I can find Marlin 1894's, and have shot a couple.  The price is better, but the first time I shot one the bolt bit me.

I have picked up primers, more brass (.38spl is not something I have been reloading), and talking to the guys here for guidance on lead and powder.  Need some new wads so I can down load my 12 ga.  And, I need to get all the presses set up.

Biggest issue, besides cash, is we are in the middle of a redecorate project - Scraping texture off the ceiling, painting and new flooring in family room/business office/reloading room.  Must make wife happy first, then reloading can be set back up.

Spring is coming  ;D  Must hurry  ;D


You realize, do you not, that you have friends within driving distance who might be interested to know schedules of these matches?

Or are you trying to tell me something?  ;D

Jackson set their first match for April 8th, and then somebody pointed out that is Easter.  Not sure which direction they are moving the match.

What size pants do you wear? I have some from when I started shooting CAS that don't fit me anymore that I'll donate to the cause if you want them,Just pay shipping(They are size 36 and 38 waist). Let me know.Also,if you want some light 12 gauge load data I'll send you the load I use,It's as light or lighter than the Winchester "Feather lites"

My prime shooting waist was 38" (when I played UPS man at the Pro-AM, goal was to lose more, but life happened), but I have expanded to 46.  Hopefully twelve months from now I will be back down.  This job change included 20 months of three nights a week in hotels and way too much restaurant food.  Changed responsibilities and have stabilized, and I'm getting ready to move smaller.

I would appreciate if you would pm the load data.
