I'm not big into reality shows. Things like Sons of a Gun, Real Garbagemen of San Fransico and Pawn Stars just don't appeal.
However I watched
Ready, Aim, Sold last night and enjoyed it.
http://www.rockislandauction.com/ready_aim_sold (I may be late with this post because it originally aired back in November) It's a reality style, behind the scenes show of Rock Island Auction. Primarily a look at some of the really, really, really big collectors (1,000+ guns) and how RIA talks the collectors into selling some of their guns. Getting to see some of the collections and collectors was fascinating. Featured was an original, mint condition Colt Single Action Army. Also a Winchester 1 of 1000 which turned out to be a fake....a very well made fake, which still sold for five digits at auction.
It was a pilot episode on Discovery and I don't see anther one scheduled in the near future.
I also watched Real Housewives of Atlanta last night. I didn't watch the whole thing just the segment where Atlanta Falcons's Kroy Bierman brings his wife, Kim, to a local range to select a gun. She's a pretty cold women....would probably do good on fear Factor. They let her shoot through their rental collection. I think she went home with a pink LCR. Filmed at Sharpshooters USA range in Alpharetta.
