I don't think it was old news to Santahog considering that he listed that Ted had never cheated on his wife as a political brownie point.

I'll concede that point but Ted never said he was a saint either!  His wife has forgiven him, that's all that matters!

OK, so folks are going to dump on Ted? Seriously? Every one of the candidates has done far, far worse - every damn one.

Dump bho - that is our mission, our only mission!!

There should be a new law (and some way for it not to be re-written, changed, edited, removed) -

No office shall have a term of more than 4 years, and that single term is final.  No running again, no 25 year governors and 50 year senators.

It is because of lazy, we've-always-done-it-this-way "professional "politicians, that our country is so damaged.  We need inspired amateurs to have a shot at fixing things.  There are so many lobbyists, and big corporate "what's in it for me?" greedy people out there.  Then you have the welfare people.  Aggghhhh - I could just go on..........

I have always said I want either Ted Nugent or Dave Mustaine for president (maybe they would run together)!

Interesting choice, I have never heard Mustaine's politics. The only thing that I really know about him (other that his music) is that he was a member of Metallica for awhile, but was kicked out due to his drug habits.

And then reality rears it's ugly head.......such a law would have to be passed by the 50-year Senators and Representatives of which you speak.  Never gonna happen.  Dammit.

I love waking up every morning knowing that Donald Trump is President!!

Ancient history.  He is clean and sober now..... Regardless, here is an interview he did with Eddie Trunk which gives some insight.

I'm not trying to push ideals, but he's super intelligent and I believe in the things Nugent preaches as well.....My opinion is all.

It's not laziness, it's greed/lust of money and/or power. Satisfying that lust takes alot of work.. Eventually, it's somebody elses work, but still.. There have been folks up there who stay 20 years for the right reasons and some who just got there for the wrong ones.. It's jot just government, either, you know.. I'd be comfortable in suggesting that there are some at our beloved NRA who are there for the power.
I suspect the Pierce Morgan thinks he is a powerful opinion shaper.. Most folks in the press do it for that reason, even at Fox, I suspect..
With friends like these, who needs hallucinations!..

I wasn't bashing at all, I like Mustaine, and have been a fan for decades. Like I said, I had never heard much about his personal life or political leanings. Probably because he's not very outspoken about it. (Imagine that! An entertainer who simply entertains!)
