Patriots defeat Ravens 23-20 to advance to the Super Bowl

FOXBOROUGH, Massachusetts (Reuters) - The New England Patriots punched their ticket to the Super Bowl with a 23-20 victory over the Baltimore Ravens in the American Football Conference championship game on Sunday.

The Patriots, who have won 10 consecutive games dating back to the regular season, will play the winner of Sunday's National Football Conference championship between the San Francisco 49ers and New York Giants in the National Football League's title game on February 5 in Indianapolis

After the "snowplow" incident against the Dolphins,.during the playoffs in the 80's, against NE..well,..... I loathe and despise them.  This was not one of NE's better games,.....1 TD pass from Brady? Hardly true to form....

The Ravens kicker shanked it, caved and lost it...... :-\

All in sportsmanlike conduct, I hope Brady gets his clock cleaned, although he does have good taste in women.... ;D
Thomas Jefferson: The strongest reason for the people to keep and bear arms is, as a last resort, to protect themselves against the tyranny of government. That is why our masters in Washington are so anxious to disarm us. They are not afraid of criminals. They are afraid of a populace which cannot be subdued by tyrants."

Make that ZERO TD passes from Brady!  He ran one in for a one foot QB Sneak!

He admitted during the post game that his performance "Was Sucky!" and it surely was that.  They deserved to lose that game, they played terrible on the offensive side of the ball.

Not a Patriots fan at all!  For that matter, I'm not really a football fan as a general rule!  I'm hoping for a Giants win in SF to replay the last time the Patriots lost the Stupid Bowl...should make it worth watching, otherwise I could give a hoot!

I think he gave up the good one though.  Bridget Moynahan is a solid "10" but Giselle is an average "7"!

He should have kept things domestic... ;)

The Pat's are MY TEAM - hell I use to live in the shadow of the old Foxboro stadium (P.S Reuters - wrong spelling)

And the Patriots DID NOT win that game - Baltimore lost it.... for poor play.

The tag line for the Patriots for the 2011 Champion season -
We sucked less.

For anyone in the area, where the Patriots play in Foxboro is right next door to the Bass Pro shops in Patriot Place.  In fact, on game day they use part of the BPS parking area.

If for no other reason than BPS, it's worth the visit....I'll be driving down in a couple of weeks myself..

The same could be said for the Giants!  At least they were good games, maybe the Superbowl won't be a lop sided boring game this year. ???

FIFY.
The 49ers played like crap on special teams. (2 punt screwups? Jeez....)
The Pats/Ravens game was a shootout that was a joy to watch. Hell of a game.
I hope the Pats bring their A game and stomp NY into jelly...but in reality I don't think it will be a blowout. NY has a lot of weapons to use.
You can say lots of bad things about pedophiles; but at least they drive slowly past schools.

But in this instance the Giants sucked less than the Niners and that is what I was referring to.

I agree the Pats/Ravens game was much better for a football fan, but the Giants/Niners game was almost painful.  I don't think the Giants stand a chance with the Pats but you never know until they play the game.

That's what they said last time.
