Three Anti-Gun Bills Pending in Illinois House

Take Action Today

Three anti-gun bills have passed out of the Illinois House Rules Committee. These bills will now move to the full house. Please contact your state Representative TODAY and urge him or her to protect your firearms freedoms. Encourage them to oppose HB 1294, HB 1599 and HB 1855!

House Bill 1294 would ban most semi-automatic handguns, rifles and shotguns. If this bill becomes law, it will also ban individual firearm parts as well as .50 caliber rifles and ammunition.

House Bill 1599 would re-classify a litany of semi-automatic handguns, rifles and shotguns as "assault weapons." Furthermore, it would re-classify as "high capacity ammunition" any round chambered in .50 caliber or more.

House Bill 1855 would create penalties for victims of crime when they fail to report a stolen firearm in an arbitrarily determined time-frame. This means that anyone reporting a missing firearm will be investigated in order to determine whether they reported it in time. In other words, the victim becomes the suspect.

When will the subjects of Illinois wake up and take their state back? 

During the Revolutionary War 4,435 Americans died and another 6,188 were wounded but did not die;
During the War of 1812 2,260 Americans died and another 4,505 were wounded by did not die.

Wasn't enough blood shed for you ungrateful subjects two centuries ago to make you appreciate your God given Rights?

Isn't it suspicious that regardless of Heller, and McDonald, and they are THE only state with no CCW, they propose and advance this clear violation of recent SCOTUS rulings, and the Constitution anyway?

They know it will be challenged, all the way back to SCOTUS....what are they hoping for?

Another BHO term with more anti-Justices appointed?

Ill. should change it's state motto.....

it's not worthy, and the citizens that keep these folks in office, when they should be impeached, recalled, or better yet, tar & feathered,...deserve what they get.

I wrote (emailed) my State Representative today.  He is the Majority Whip.  I heard back from him within an hour with a personal, not canned, reply of thanks and assurance he will be calling on me this year as we renew our battle for the return of freedoms.
