This month's gun giveaway finally convinced me to sign up.

I have been reading, and watching downrange for quite some time now, and never joined the forum, for some reason I did not notice that there was a forum...I guess I did not read enough.

Anyway I was reviewing the SR9 videos for the 10th time in the last couple of months.  I finally went to my LGS and purchased a brand new SR9...very nice indeed. Mine has a problem, which will be resolved by Ruger in short order (great customer service)...but I have to send it back to AZ for it to get fixed...no big deal.

Anyway, I am really pleased to be here.  It looks like a very informative forum and totally compliments the web site.

Thanks for the great television and internet shows that are being produced.

I am fom Edmond, Oklahoma.

I am a 22 year EMT-Paramedic, and 11 year LEO with patrol, SWAT, clan lab, and criminal investigations experience.

I have always considered myself a shooting enthusiast.

My firearms collection/duty weapon choice has included GLOCK, Kimber, and Sig Sauer. My on-duty long guns have included short Remington 11-87, numerous M4s, and a Springfield SOCOM 16.

I am looking forward to learning on this forum.
