Gee, what a wonderful web site.  I am a relatively inexperienced shooter and have much to learn.  I look forward to learning much here.

Awesome site and forum community.  I am from Howard Kansas and would consider myself an experienced shooter and gun owner.  I Really like the depth of the discussions here and can't wait to join in.  Lord knows I have an extra 2 cents every now and then.  ::)

Greetings from TEXAS, First let me say that SHOOTING GALLERY is the #1 reason to have tivo and a dvd recorder. I've saved 98% since the first season and revisit them often. Second, congrats on DRTV, I think this is going to be a hit. My
background, IPSC, ICORE, STEEL PLATES, NRA ACTION SHOOTING, TEAM CHALLENGE, NRA SERVICE RIFLE/HIGHPOWER , NRA HUNTERS PISTOL SILHOUETTE,HOME BREWED TACTICAL MATCHES, 3 GUN, NRA BULLSEYE,
PRECISION AIR PISTOL,GSSF,NATIONAL RANGE OFFICERS INSTITUTE ( CHIEF RANGE OFFICER), I was lucky enough that all of these matches could be shot within a hundred miles of Dallas, and most within 50. Latest passion is long range rifle, I help promote Tac-Pro shooting center for Bill and Alice Davison, at our largest local gunshow. Tac-pro is the closet 1,000 yard range to Dallas. I love anything that has a trigger and sights, and 2 full safes to prove it. ( I have a very understanding wife ). Keep up the good work!!!!

Another new guy here.  I hail from Tidewater Va and make my living fixin old Aircraft Carriers.  I have been a shooter for 40 years or better.  CCW a 1911, in 45 auto of course.  Love to shoot pins and other reactive targets.  I'm just making my first move into the EBR world with an AR15 being built up.  I am an honorably seperated veteran of the Cold War era.  Too young for Viet Nam and out before Desert Shield/Storm.  I was active duty in the dark days of the Carter Presidency and felt the sudden swell of pride when we inaugurated a CIC who respected and supported the military.  I am proud to say that I marched in President Reagan's first inauguratioon.  I've been married to the same lady for 25 years, in May, and have two great children.  A 20 year old autistic boy and a 15yo pretty as a pin girl.  I have truly been blessed with a wonderful family.  I love black powder deer hunting, working around a horse farm, working with English Setters and sniping an occasional sod pig.

Another transplant from SIGForm, this is a great site.  The SIGForm helped with the purchase of my first firearm, Sig P229 40cal with CTC laser grip.  However, after finding your site you helped with the CCW questions I needed to answer and I feel better prepared to attend the CHL class next weekend.  Thanks for all the information.

PS.  I now also have my second gun for personal CCW.  STI LS40 :o
