New here; had the site in "favorites" for ages but, for some unknown reason, never really viisted. Semi-active on a couple other sites, but don't post all that much. Really enjoy "Best Defense" on the Outdoor Channel. Watched it tonight and guess something was said to prompt me to visit here. Went bananas when I saw th FNAR giveaway. Got to handle one a while back at LGS. Think he had it a couple hours despite the price. I really need an EBR!!

I AM IN SUCH A GOOD MOOD FROM SUNDAY AFTERNOON. I FINALLY, FINALLY GOT THE MISSUS TO GO SHOOT W/ME.
SHE FINALLY SHOT HER .38 SPL, THE .20 GAUGE SHE KEEPS IN THE WALK-IN CLOSET(IT'S 99% HER STUFF IN THERE ANYWAYS), & A .22 RIFLE.  NOW SHE WANTS THE PINK MARBLE VERSION OF THE RIFLE!! SHE REALLY HAD A GOOD TIME, WHICH MEANS SHE WILL GO AGAIN!! 5 KIDS, 7 GRAND-KIDS & I TRY TO TAKE THEM SHOOTING, HUNTING, FISHING, CAMPING, ETC. AS MUCH AS TIME PERMITS.
I REALLY LIKE THE JOKE THREAD, KEEPS THE STRESS DOWN UNTIL I CAN GO SHOOT MY TOYS!! THANKS.

Don't you guys recognize the inherant danger in a woman who can shoot?  You REALLY have to be on your best behavior.  At least I think that's true for you guys.  My wife enjoys plinking with the Ruger Single Six, knows how to rack a round in my Glock 27, and can get a reasonable pattern with the .22 Winchester bolt action.

Of course, I am always on my best behavior and would never think about doing anything wrong... _{she's standing behind me, isn't she?}

Anyway, new guys, welcome to the site.  The knowledge factor here is great and the stupid stuff gets called out with amazing speed.  You'll enjoy your visits, and we'll enjoy your company.  Happy New Year.
