Well, I've been hunting and shooting for so long that I was a neighbor of Daniel Boone.   ;)

Grew up in the pine barren hill country of North Louisiana, was a USAF pilot in Alaska and hunted there.  When not hunting, I spent lots of time on the Ft. Richardson skeet range.  Managed to become the Alaska State Skeet Shooting champion back in the dark ages.  Well, at least I out-shot those that came out for the event.   :D

Several years later I served on the Board of the Natchitoches Public Shooting Range, in Natchitoches, Louisiana.  The original name of the range was the Grits Gresham Public Shooting range...who was a resident of the town.  I had the pleasure of chatting with Grits in front of the club fireplace for a few hours....

Not that anyone will care, but here's my poop, and some of it is true...  ;D
