I spent a couple of years in FRG in 78-80.  Nelingen Barraks, Stutgart.  Loved my time there.  Pretty country.

Don´t worry, this is not a German invasion. I´m a friend of ultima ratio. Started to listen to Michael Banes awesome show half a year ago and I love it! So I decided to join this board. I’m 30 years old, from Hamburg/Germany. Former NBC recon, now light infantry. With the German Army Reserve for couple of years. I´m a sports shooter and I have a really sick interest in pistols and rifles, weapons skills, tactics and gear plus I LOVE knifes! Really looking forward to talk to u guys and learn from your experience.

NBC, that was my job while I was in the Army, too.

I've got a MP nephew in Germany...not sure of his location or unit, but I hear some stories about working there.

Since I served in the Marine Corps I NEVER thought I'd hear any one say THAT.

Come to think of it, when I was in the infantry, did not like it.  But now that I am older, wiser and it's a long time past, I am glad that is where I served.  Never liked NBC.
