Welcome rah!  Any flaws you care to expose upfront?

Gday to all the new Peoples

:)
Here’s to the crazy ones. The misfits. The rebels. The troublemakers. The round pegs in the square holes. The ones who see things differently. They’re not fond of rules. And they have no respect for the status quo. You can praise them, disagree with them, quote them, disbelieve them, glorify or vilify them. The only thing you can’t do is ignore them

Newspaper article: (Texas) Legislators mull giving guns tax holiday

Evidence of why I think that Texas is a great place to live.

Welcome to all the newbies.  I have been out of town for a while, not much computer time.

Aussie in Albuq, too bad I had not been online in a while.  I was in Albuq for almost two weeks, returned home today.  If you come to Carlsbad, let me know.  Introduce you to our range.  For everybody else, New Mexico is about 50% public land, means you can go and shoot and hunting in land that belongs to all of us.

Charles Rives, I spent over two years working in that nice place 20 NE of Amarillo.

Greeting from sunny Daytona Beach FL
Richard here.
I am into amateur radio, guns, and my family.

Favorite pistols are my Steyr's. I own a GB, M9A1, and a M40A1. Looking to add 357 sig to the lineup.
And of course my 1911 45ACP.
For long guns I have a 25-06 that was my late fathers.

So much more I want but $$ is always the issue.

I posted this on the Where ya from? thread.  Maybe it should be here instead.

FNG here from Clarksville, TN.  Father's family can be traced back over 200 years in E. TN, Mother's Father was born in KY then moved to TX.  Mother and siblings born in Milam Co. TX (S of Waco).  I was born in Michigan and grew up in Michigan and Indiana, but have been around the world (Korea, Vietnam, Germany, Enewetak, Texas, Alabama, Virginia, Illinois, Kansas, Colorado, Hawaii, Thailand, Hong Kong, Pennsylvania, South Carolina and a whole bunch of places just passing through) during 20 years in the Army.  Now totally retired for disability, but still manage to get to the range when I can.   Currently trying to work up the right load to get 5 rounds inside an inch at 400 yds with my Model 70 in .308.   Still able to put a 15 shot group into about 2-3" at 7.5 yds with my P89 as fast as I can pull the trigger.
