Haz, they don't give a good crap about all that bull going on over there any more. That's old news. They make a lot more off of watching Brad and Angelina get married or adopt another kid from frickin Africa or Mars or where the hell ever. They care a lot more for poor poor Britney Spears or Oprah not-so-fat-free building a school on the other side of the planet for girls only. What the hell is up with that Or better yet, who really gives a crap???

I was going to add that no wonder Sadr quit the fight - to see that amount of firepower coming at you and just devastating everything between you and it probably gave him a good case of the squirts. Story on the wire is that the Iraqi's did most of the fighting with our guys helping coordinate and make sure I's were dotted etc.

Damn fine job in any event, how long was it before Sadr threw in the towel? A day, maybe 2? Not long like last time.

May God Bless Every Single American over there. Sure its awful, sure its H***, but those soldiers are doing that mission with honor and professionalism that OUR enemy will never have. despite the BS from some "over here" in comfy chairs and offices.

Sixty years ago we would have bombed them into the Stoneage, now we are concerned about civilian deaths. Our military is the best of the best, and the rules of engagement change monthly, but they are heroes!

If they would take me at 38 years old, I would go tomorrow. (I tried).

I noticed lots of laser and LED illumination and  fixed mount hardware on weapons, I hope those help them do what they do so well.

I pray for them, and wish they can come home soon.

The only part I dis agree with is bombing them back to the stone age, you would only need  1 pack of fire crackers.

I have some friends of mine( as we all do) over there I wonder what he's up to as he has not emailed me in a while of somthing blowing up. Well tme for me t emil the Sage. I will let you know. If any body out there knows of some of this countrys finest need some playing cards  let me know. I know its not much but on the budget I am on  I can get them free from the casino and ship them for next to nothing and will do the same for vets. I owe them at least that much.

Hey Gunman, look on the net for the USO (United Servicemen Overseas). As far as I know they take care packages and send them to the troops over there. There is a USO unit at Ft. Carson here in  Colorado Springs. You can reach them at 719-306-1898 or email them at (jaldaz@uso.org).I spent many years overseas and used to go to the USO Clubs all the time. Quite often we wanted to play cards and only had partial or mixed decks. I'm sure they would love ya for it. And yes, the USO does send care packages to the Raq and Afghanistan.
