Never been sent there by the blond witch our fair haired maiden, but I hear it's nice.

Tyler, I've only had one dog that had a litter but it was a blast and a huge headache all rolled up into one neat experience.
I ended up keeping one - half bloodhound, half fence jumper. Very good dog his whole life.

Hey TD, them are some cute sons-a-bitches.  And I mean that in the most complimentary sense.

And, like human babies, it's a darned good thing they ARE so cute--else we'd never put up with all the crap that comes down the road.

On the plus side, pups are easier to housebreak than grand kids.

I am down to four puppies now.

I put up some ads on Craig's List.

I got a lot of interest then, but ...gee...oh...darn....when I tell people there is a $150 "rehoming fee" they just kinda disappear.

anywhooo....I edited my OP to include a link to a new public photobucket album I created.  Pics and vids there.

How's their temperament?  I've had a couple of purebred labs but my only experience with a Weimaraner was a very poorly trained dog!  The owner was a complete flake and the dog wasn't too far off that mark.

Thanks billt!

I am down to three completely black males now:

as far as their temperment goes....well, they are like little kids or babies right now.

when they want something they whine... and they have to try their teeth on everything.

whenever I would gingerly place the pyrex casserole dish into their whelping box to feed or water them, I would always whistle and say "HERE!"...."HERE!"...."HERE!"

so they learned already when they are out of the whelping box or in the backyard that when I whistle or say "HERE!", they come-a-charging

they are very alert and watch everything.

When I had my Golden and he was a pup, we would freeze folded, wet wash cloths, and give them to him to teeth on. He really liked them because they were cold. We kept a large supply of them and after they thawed we would rinse them, soak them, and refreeze them. It worked because he never chewed anything up.

Going to the NRA show in St. Louis?

Swing by my house and pick up a pup.
