I'm thinking of getting a crossbreed holster for my Para p12. Any thoughts?

I do not own one, but I have heard good things about them, and they look good in the catalog and on TV.

Holster choice and satisfaction is mostly subjective, so as long as they use quality materials and build it well it is all up to you.

I have not used one...  but I carry daily in a Comp-tac M-tac which I like a lot.  And you may want to consider White Dog Holster's Mutt and the Concealment Solutions varieties.

I just did a review of the White Dog Holsters Purebreed model and I was really impressed.

Just some other options to consider.  PM or e-mail me if you want to know why I chose the Comp-tac when I bought it.

I have carried my XD subcompact in a crossbreed daily for over a year.  I wish I discovered it prior to all my other holsters that now collect dust.  It conceals well and evenly distributes the weight.  I often forget I have it on.  I highly recommend.

Good as in practical, usable and durable.  This isn't a sports car, a stripper or a date dude  ;)  Wellllllllllllllllllllll ... maybe there is a parallel somewhere in there  ::)

I recently acquired a Crossbreed SuperTuck for my 1911s.  It is a pain to put on, but once it is on it is probably the most comfortable holster for carrying a handgun that I have ever worn.  It does an excellent job of distributing the weight of the gun around my waist.  You do need to wear it with a good quality gun belt to get the most benefit from it.  I rate it as "two thumbs up!"

I love mine. I carry a para 1911 single stack.
Give me liberty or I'll get my guns and get it myself.

I've carried a couple of different guns with the CrossBreed, and all of the comments above are pretty accurate. But I have since switched over to a brand called Kholsters.com. They are VERY similar to CB, but at half of the price. He also runs sales every now and then, and sells any for $35.00, shipped. When he does this, he gets real busy, and it backs him up, but they are worth the wait.
