well I glued up canvas the other day. 18 layers to be exact. And since I don't have a fancy CNC router to make all the nice grip-ey grooves and golf ball like dimples, I thought it would be neat to add some ripples to the fabric to at least make for some visually interesting designs.
so I started cutting and sanding my rough blanks last night... and then it struck me....argghh.... I screwed up!

There are two grip panels...I call one the driver's side and the other the passenger's side. hence, the "D.S." and the "P.S. marked on the grips.
The ripples are angled one way....the correct way on the driver's side grip, but I suspect it will look like poo poo with the designs angled the wrong way on the passenger's side grip panel
arghhh...

I've got some flate steel bar stock and some skinny rod that I am going to weld together to make a ripple-y mould.
