Quick review, Wisconsin State Fair; Young Blacks yank white folks out of their cars and beat a few.....Philly, several instances where Black teens, chased, beat, assaulted, shot, white folk. All posted here in the pages in DRTV. A few other recent local only news snips, and the Police, never found it a hate crime....

White people I guess can't be a victim of a hate crime...

Here's another. Where is the MSM? If the situation was reversed it would be covered......Rhetorical question. We already know the answer.

Police in Kansas City are investigating a possible hate crime after a 13-year-old boy was doused in gasoline and set on fire. According to Allen Goin’s mother, the attack occurred just as her son was getting home from school. She said, “They rushed him on the porch as he tried to get the door open…one of them poured gasoline, then flicked the Bic and said, ‘This is what you deserve. You get what you deserve white boy.’”

The police say the boy was engulfed in a “large fireball,” but was able to beat out the flames to call 911 and his father. In addition to suffering first degree burns, he has lost his eyebrows, eyelashes, and part of the skin on his face. There is also long-term concern about his eyes and lungs.

The family intends to move out of fear that the attackers went to their son’s school, which KMBC reports he will not return to. Melissa Coon, the boy’s mother, said her youngest son, 5, asked her, “Mom, am I going to get set on fire today?”

“I was in tears,” she said.

Not sure what might be trying to accomplish here.

I don't think it should be to show black kids can be savages....white kids can also.

It surely shouldn't be to encourage any retaliation....and even if this is shared without that intent, it will likely have that result.

The best I can figure could be accomplished it to eliminate the concept of Hate Crimes altogether.

That type of viciousness should be condemned and punished no matter what the motive and regardless of the race, creed, color, sex, nationality, sexual orientation, political/social stance or any other trait of the victim or aggressor.  

My thought is that at a minimum they should be tried as adults and get maximum sentences.

I am not any kind of professional behaviorist at all, but I tend to believe that if anyone has that active propensity for unprovoked violence, they are pretty much lost and at an early age.

The purpose is to show the double standard  maintained toward minorities.
If the white kid had used a bat on the blacks trying to incinerate him you can bet your butt Jesse Jackson and Al Sharpton would be screaming for his head.
Let blacks or Muslims perpetrate some atrocity and you get crickets chirping.

I do understand that and am aware of the double standard and know it needs to be stopped.

But I see reactions here that do not address the double standard....and I really have doubts that what ever action we take will lessen the double standard...or if it does, that might be the least of its effects.

I don't want anyone to think I'm saying that I think that anyone here is intending what follows, but I do think that we all would agree that the solution is not that white kids be able to set fire to black kids with the same lack of "Hate Crime" being levied as this example shows.

The solution is to have all vicious violence be not tolerated and spotlighted, regardless of motives or who is involved.

Solus, I've been quiet, reading along here and it's been my impression that all of the above was a given.

This is especially true with the 20 something crowd regarding Muslims. Most of those people were adolescents or younger when 9/11 happened. They have been raised and educated in a post 9/11 world. They have been taught, mostly by uber liberal teachers, to be vastly sympathetic to the Muslim cause or "religion". They are quick on the trigger to call anyone who criticizes a Muslim a racist or a bigot. The first is impossible because Muslims are not a race. But that fact doesn't stop them.

This is where we are seeing the results of liberal teachers in our school system doing the most damage. A lot of these people's minds are totally warped. They are politically correct beyond belief, and many follow Ron Paul's nonsense that we as Americans are to blame for 9/11. It makes me wonder just what percentage of today's teachers, (grades 7 through 12), are liberal? I'm willing to bet the number is close to, if not over 90%. Based on that , this will only get worse. Anyone who doubts this, think back to the, "Barack Hussein Obama....MMMM.......MMMM.......MMMM", video from the last election.
