This is a travesty.  I say we should ban regular glass and require every homeowner to install safety glass so this doesn't happen again.  His family should sue.

Vaughn called police about 1:05 p.m. after pulling into his driveway and finding his kitchen window broken. The call was characterized as a past break-in and given a low priority; an officer was dispatched from the Bonnie Doone area about 1:30 p.m., police spokesman Gavin MacRoberts said.

So it took them 25 minutes to dispatch, but it didn't say what time he arrived.  When seconds count...

"It doesn't appear to be foul play at this time," MacRoberts said.

A few years back, a guy broke into a video store about 1/2 mile from my house.  He cut himself during the brake in and managed to lock himself in a backroom.  He bleed to death also.

I don't know about your experiences, but I was cut by broken glass as a child--more than once. 

It was only by quick action and the application of a band-aid by my mommy that I didn't experience an even greater loss of blood.

This dangerous product must be banned so that some other innocent B&E artist doesn't suffer the same fate.

Police initially reported the intruder may have bled to death after cutting himself on the window. But while Stocum had cuts on his hand from entering the home and there was some blood, it did not appear he had bled to death, MacRoberts said.

It would have been funny if he had bled to death, seems the retard over dosed. End result one less peice of filth to destroy the gene pool any further. Nothing better than self fulfilling castration with extreme prejudice!
