Someone must have got the Memo on ammo
« on: March 09, 2012, 09:24:00 AM »
Watching the bulk ammo prices on a couple of auctions and someone got the memo about prices going up and they are. No wonder with the 2012 elections coming up and fuel prices going up and people getting worried about obama getting reelected in 2012 :'( :-\ :-X

My local gun pusher hasn't raised the price of ammo that much, perhaps 10% to 15% if that. I know that the manufacturers haven't raised the product any where close to that. IMR powders have gone up $1 a pound for the first time in 8 years.

What is raising the price on the auctions is, more than likely, the same thing that happened in 08 .... panic and rumor. That's happening right now. Everyone panics about "anti" legislation and there is a run on the banks so to speak and the price sky rockets 'cause there are shortages because of the panic run on stuff which causes prices to go up which causes a panic run which causes, well you get the idea. All of the manufacturers I've contacted have raised their prices only because of in increase in materials. Any other increase in caused by scalpers and panic.

Relax guys> Vote BHO out of office and keep the panic from spreading.
