I bought this one from my local dealer. I paid $39.95 for it. $43 something with tax. After I installed it, I liked it so much I ordered 4 more from Midway. They had them on sale for $23.99. 4 of them with shipping was only $12 more than 2 of them would have cost me from my local dealer. I don't mind helping out the local guys, but not for almost twice as much. Anyway I'm putting them on my DPMS .308, and my Rock River 9 MM, as well as a couple other Bushmasters I have. The DPMS has a slotted screw holding the grip. I'm hoping that one doesn't give me grief. Both the Rock River Arms and the Bushmasters use 3/16 Hex Head bolts. I've got an extended Allen Wrench that fits on a 3/8" drive ratchet. That combination just pops them right off.

Go to Lowes or a supply store and get an Allen head screw to replace it.

That's a good idea. I'm guessing it's a 1/4-28 thread.

Bill, how much of a difference is there between the regular Ergo grip and the Tactical DeLuxe?
I have the regular ones and wondered if the TD was that much bigger. (For me, bigger is better.)

I have the regular model on my Bushmaster Modular Carbine and it's quite a bit thinner. The DeLuxe Tactical Model is big time fat. I'll say it's bigger, or at least as big as a Glock 21 frame. It kind of bulges in the middle, then thins out near the top and bottom. It really feels good when you grab hold of it. For me it really helps from keeping my finger from having to go to the second digit on the trigger. The stock grip always made that a bit awkward for me.

Click on "Ergo Tactical DeLuxe" and you'll get a side view.

At work. It's easier to just take it in and match it.

Exactly what I wanted to hear. Thanks Billt! I missed the profile pics on their website. I'm gonna have to get me a few of these. (XXL glove size)

Now what else to order from Midway....hmmm.  ;D

I have one of the standard ERGO grips and love it. My other AR has a Pachmayr revolver style grip that feels a little odd. It's long and skinny. I wouldn't reccomend it.

Very Nice.  That angle looks so weird though.
