Sig Scorpion 1911 .45

Has anyone had the chance to shoot and evaluate one of these new Sig offerings??  Nice looking firearm.

haven't shot it but handled one my friend has. I like it alot.

The Scorpion line is a paint scheme.  They've got a cute Hogue scorpion/snake looking grip and a tan sprayed on coating.  Basically, the same gun they sell normally.  You can get the "Scorpion" look on several models.  It's a gimmick, nothing more with some better bits maybe...short reset trigger on the P series guns.

On a side note, they did release a P938 to supplement the anemic .380, P238.  The P938 is a 9mm version of the "Colt Mustang" knockoff they released last year.

Edit...a scorpion is technically an arachnid or of the spider genus...
