Dick Cheney gets heart transplant!

Cheney undergoes heart transplant surgery

Former GOP Vice President Dick Cheney is recovering from heart transplant surgery at Inova Fairfax Hospital in Northern Virginia, a spokeswoman said Saturday evening.

In 2010, Cheney had a left ventricular assist device implanted for treatment of end-stage heart failure. The former vice president has been on the cardiac transplant list for more than 20 months.

Though he and his family do not know the identity of the donor, they will be forever grateful for this lifesaving gift, the spokeswoman also said.

Cheney, who is in intensive care, expressed his thanks to the teams of doctors and other medical professionals at Inova Fairfax and at George Washington University Hospital, where he also has been treated, for their "continued outstanding care.

I'm sure the support from the Daily Kos, and the Huffington Post will be most supportive. It's amazing that when the Libs call for civility and grace they exemplify none of the above.

I'll take Cheney over gaffe machine Biden anyday....

Leadership ability, and command under fire.... the talent of spanking the MSM, like Rumsfeld did,,,,keeps them hated by the left, but you know what????

They are not nearly as bad as the current POTUS, and his minions.

Prayers for health and recovery. Anyone that gets the MSM and the Democrats so worked up and panties in a bunch at the very mention of his name is worthy of respect.

FQ would love this. Almost as much as a Sarah Palin post.   8)

Regardless of what you thought of Dick, he managed to shoot a lawyer and get away with it!

That's tops in my book!

Retired Army officer here the other day was going on about how W didn't have the experience to be Pres.
I piped up and said, "Oh, so instead of the inexperienced multi term Gov. you voted for the 1/2 term Senator ?"
He didn't comment, but it was obvious he was pissed.  ;D

He is the town historian, so we are sort of friends, but I never hesitate to point out his political hypocrisy .
