Would love to be there, and some day I will go to convention.  However, not this year - again  :(

Great advice!  Any convention, and the NRA's is very well advertized, will attract vultures.  Everyone is a walking target, and it is the weak that will be taken down.

And watch out for those sidewalk obstacles, like the few I had to step over from the Brady Bunch lying on the sidewalk representing casualties from gun shots... 8)

Looking forward to Houston 2013, for the Post BHO convention, or like I posted on another thread, the First Meeting Of The National Militia For The Preservation Of America.

And as much as we all know what we would like to do, shut up, step over and around, be polite, do not engage in "discussion," and do not grant interviews!  Be average American Jack and Jill, and blend into society.

I have been to two, one in NC in 2000, and the one in Louisville.  Wish I could go to this one, but I have to work.  I guarantee anybody that is going that you will enjoy it!

Couldn't we maybe rig a bladder full of some liquid and a tube down to outside one shoe and open the bladder standing uphill from those laying down?  Noting dangerous or harmful...just something that smells bad maybe?

The overall attendance of the Charlotte 2010 show was over 70,000.....There were no convention members or attendees arrested.
(Although Michael Bane in his flaming skull shirt was a possible infraction) ;)

Had a great time, met Uncle Ted, The Gunny, many competitive superstars in the shooting sports field. Drooled a lot. Never found Marshall, but MB said he is in "turbo mode" at these kind of events.

As I've posted before, "WEAR COMFORTABLE SHOES".....Take your time. Get there on the first day. The schwag and free goodies are the best on the first day.

Please meet the TAPCO booth/girl,...you won't regret it. Get the free T-shirt....and try not to stare at her,........attributes.... ::)

Go to the individual modules. Go to the main event. It is well worth it....

Man you should explain what you mean. To those of you going in April there have been two bus break ins in the last week in the down town area. My advise is to NOT leave anything valuable in your car if you park on the street and don't park on the street if you can avoid it. I don't know if this is a trend but careful is better than regret. (Did that make sense?)
