It's my understanding that there are groups of investors worldwide that pool their money and buy huge lots of tickets for lotteries that get this big.  One reason I don't like playing them!  Another reason is that MA considers your name, town and picture to be public information and you have to agree to that or you don't get your winnings.

I don't want to know how many relatives I have anymore!

I have run plenty of people at matches who shot Glocks.

Trust me, Glocks are just like any other gun.  They jam.

I even had one guy whose Glock doubled and tripled during a stage.

only newbs show up with stock glocks and factory ammo.

 :P

nah....this guy shoots pretty well, and he had a "smith" work on his Glock.  and I so enjoy watching this particular "smith" especially at matches getting egg on his face when ones of his guns he has worked on go tits up.

last year, one of his guns didn't pass the inspection for an IDPA major match.  so that shooter had to pack up and go home.

while I feel bad for the shooter, I did kinda have to giggle at this "smith".

You don't go to an all day match without some backup gun.   Maybe not the same model or configuration, but something that at least lets you shoot, even if you have to shoot in a different class.

If you can help it you don't have your competition gun worked on by a "Smith" with an apparently shaky reputation.
