Any Landing You Can Walk Away From, Is A Good Landing...

80 Year Old Helen Collins, her husband collapsed, (and later died), behind the left seat and she found herself alone at the controls. She was calm, cool, and collected, and talked down to a landing she survived. Especially in a twin engine plane....with minimal flight control time. Another pilot and friend flew up along side her, and talked her down....

Audio and video at link...They are truly the greatest generation.... She is quite a woman...Especially with her husband slumped over right next to her, no panic, no defeat,,,....

many a pilot stated the title of this post,.....and they were right....

God Bless You Helen, Your Husband, may he rest in peace and be proud of you....You did good...

Thomas Jefferson: The strongest reason for the people to keep and bear arms is, as a last resort, to protect themselves against the tyranny of government. That is why our masters in Washington are so anxious to disarm us. They are not afraid of criminals. They are afraid of a populace which cannot be subdued by tyrants."
Col. Jeff Cooper.
