Any thoughts?

I think the thing is ridiculously over priced, as well as over hyped, but it is selling in spite of that, along with a horrible economy. Peoples priorities never cease to amaze me. They'll bitch and moan about $4.00 a gallon gas, along with low paying jobs, yet they have the money to spend over $300.00 on a $5 molded plastic gimmick that will allow them to burn through $7.00 a box ammo in 2 seconds.

To them nothing comes before the Constitution of these United States of America. For this we are all labeled potential terrorists. ~ Dean Garrison

I am in at $199.99+tax.  I can rent a real one 10 times at my range for $200.  After about 10 times the thrill would be gone and I would probably resort to semi-auto anyway.  But for 2 bills, sure, why not.

That's not bad. I've seen them at right around the $360.00 mark.

With the Slide Fire Model $349, I tried one....I won't get one, but OK, its got some cool factor....However, if you are using an oversize trigger guard, it won't work....

and you have to adjust your shooting a bit, as you are using your handguard hand to push fwd. in addition to cradling. Your trigger finger just goes along for the "ride".

That is why our masters in Washington are so anxious to disarm us. They are not afraid of criminals. They are afraid of a populace which cannot be subdued by tyrants."

I've got one, paid $300.00 OTD, & it is a blast. But while I agree it burns through ammo, I put it on my M&P 15-22. I can waste an hour or so for about $15-20. FYI, the new version will work with oversized trigger guards.

The range I go to doesn't allow "rapid fire" so I would have to go out in the woods to shoot it.
