Where Can I Get An Application ?

I want to apply to the Secret Service. Those Dudes know how to party. Of course they mat not take someone as old as I am , and taking a bullet for the Pres. no matter who he is ... needs to learn to duck like anyone else.  ;D

Most of the ATF and SS agents are indoctrinated, hired right out of college.  They don't particularly want any of us seasoned citizens.  Might have something to do with being able to think for ourselves. 


Don't be feeling sorry for those agents who were fired.   They all got jobs over at the GSA in the party uh, meeting planing department.

Used to not be that way, depending on whatthey were looking for.  They ONLY recruited pre-seperation classes on military bases.  USSS was HARD for getting spooks and techies for a long time.  They'd hire you for Technical Services then after five years offer a bump to Special Agent.  A lot of Marshals came directly from the mliitary (how I got my offer) but now they're getting teh "college boys" with no clue.  I get a call all the time from my USMS buddies "Are you SURE you could come in?  I need SOMEBODY with a damn brain to have my back."

Well, yeah, supposedly. After we diss FQ and TAB, deal with a couple of Aussies extolling the virtues of Fosters (or not), ogle women, talk about motorcycles, discuss various recipes for this and that, tell jokes (mostly juvenile, but who cares?), look at dogs, ogle women, talk about cats, trash Ron Paul trolls, sing songs, ogle women, and drool over fedoras, yeah, the odd gun thread has been known to pop up. Fosters is not what we call Beer... 
for those playing at home and want a good beer look at a Cascade or Coopers at least!!
