Good Deal On .50 BMG Ball Ammo
« on: May 09, 2012, 07:37:42 AM »
http://www.unammo.com/

I drove over and picked up 150 rounds of this stuff yesterday morning from United Nations Ammo. It's made by Kynoch in Britain. 150 rounds in a .50 Cal ammo can for $375.00. That's only $2.50 a round for 660 Grain FMJ M-33 Ball. That is the cheapest I've ever paid. It's nice clean ammo. Considering Cabela's charges $46.99 for a box of 10 of the Federal M-33 Ball, ($4.70 a round), this stuff is a big savings. I can't shoot factory ammo out of my Weatherby's this cheap.

I remember a scene from the first Tremors movie where the "gun nut" is explaining how he made some pipe bombs.

"I use some household chemicals, plumbing pipe and cannon fuse."

"Why do you have cannon fuse?"

With a perplexed look, the gun nut answers  "For my cannon."

I know their gun handling was a bit "emphasized" but it did seem like any time they touched a weapon, they checked to see if it was loaded.    And when he gave the kid a revolver, it was unloaded  ;D ;D

I looks like they sold out of the non linked stuff for $375.00 for 150 rounds. It looks like they've got some of the linked still avaliable, along with the linked APIT.

Shhh...quiet on the linked.  Since Wideners sold out of their linked at $225/100 this is the lowest price I can find.  API is fine...

TNW is selling unlinked ball at $1.75/round.  Cheapest anywhere.
