Easier than what I have to do to my DPMS AR-15.  Shoot one round...clean...repeat 25 times.  Shoot 10 rounds...clean...repeat 10 times.  Accuracy will come in at around 200 rounds they say.  Oh what the hell, it's shootin'

Never had that problem with my DPMS AR. Ran through lots of junk ammo, Wolf mostly.

However, I did forget to clean the M1A after one shoot, and it sat for with the muzzle plugged and the barrel full of Kroil for 3 weeks in the barrel breaking through the crap blocking the gas tube. Learned my lesson well with that one.

Some say it matters and some say it doesn't. But, I think I would do some kind of break in.. I mean after all if it doesn't matter, then what is it going to hurt?

+1 it is a  matter of opinon as far as rifles goes  but with well made pistols they do require some break in , like tight fittihg 1911's may need 500 rounds  before they are right. Sort of putting the final lap on the slide/frame fit.
