Gentlemen, I do not comment frequently...well, hardly at all actually. But I have mentioned before that we must be careful what we say in chat rooms, emails, etc. because it WILL be used against you in court as evidence of premeditation, predilection, prejudice and intent. Let's use some judgement here lest we provide the ammunition that the Rev Al, Jessie Jackson, the Urban League, NAACP and the Black Caucus need to continue their unchecked march to intimidation hiding behind the Black Panthers as the tip of their spear. Your reaction is just what they want; let's not give it to them. And remember, you may think prison may be an acceptable outcome, but just think who is in there waiting for you AND you are no longer armed! Oh, and don't do it in Maryland either; it's not called the Peoples Republic by accident!

What you are suggesting, meek acceptance of lies and propaganda, is the attitude that allowed Hitler to gain power in Germany.

When the leader of a organized group states the members of that group will hunt me down, kill me and then abuse my corpse, my having a response that I will be ready and willing to aggressively defend myself should they meet the requirements for the application of lethal force in self defense, it will show that I was aware of their intent to kill me and/or do me bodily harm, that I believed what they said they would do and was prepared to defend myself when and if their threat became an imminent danger.

If the encounter happens during the next meeting at their "lodge" there might be a case, but if it occurs at a place I normally visit or a place where I cannot foresee their members being present I don't think it can go very far.

Now I have to file for an absentee ballot because, from past behavior, I DO expect them to be present at every polling place where they can muster enough members to intimidate white voters.   

Others might wish to use this threat to move that their presence within several miles of any polling place be disallowed.

There is a simple solution for a legitimate group of citizens who is being prevented from voting.
