We should not make fun of the Mexican Airborne after their daring assaults on Eban Emal, and Crete, oh wait, that was the Germans.
Well there were their jumps into Normandy and Holland, Oh, wait, that was us.
Well, there were the jumps into Stanleyville and Kolwezi, Oh crap, that was the Belgians and French.
Have the Mexicans ever fought any one other than us and each other ?

I mean, they gave the northern part of the country away to drug lords. if they fought half as hard as they look, they would have kicked the DLs asses long before now, right?

No, because when they fought Texas it was still part of them.

That isn't exactly correct, the reason for the fighting is that the out going President didn't want to give away the northern half of the country.
That's what the incoming guy is going to do.
Actually the Government has never had a very tight grip on the Northern portion of the country .
That was all Villa country.
Actually Mexico and Afghanistan are run the way America was intended to be, a weak central govt with most power residing in the states.
