Kinda surprised me that Bill Engvall would say something that is all but guaranteed to piss off his core fan base.  Country music people are his bread and butter, for God's sake, and they are NOT anti's, by and large.

On the other hand, maybe he thought none of them would ever be watching Bill Maher's douchery to hear him say it.

No Tom, the majority of gun owners believe that it is all about hunting and sporting.  The sheeple do not understand #1 They are God given Rights as recognized by the Founding Fathers and that they are protected by the Constitution of the United States; #2 The Amended Constitution says nothing about hunting or sport shooting; #3 That we as citizens are to be prepared both personally (physically and materially) to as part of an organized group (note it does not say who forms and runs the group) to protect our nation from all enemies foreign and domestic; and #4 It is not super powers with high tech and high power weapons that threaten the United States of America.  It is our politics from within, but for the sake of this video and this discussion it is the cave dwellers with antique arms that have been a deadly thorn in the side of our state of the art military and that have broken the will of the citizens for a decade.

It can be argued that WE SHOULD BE THE TALIBAN.
The average Afghan doesn't give a crap about Al Queda, or Geo politics, he is simply doing as his fore fathers have done for hundreds of years.
There is a foreign army in Afghanistan and he is going to go shoot at it, Greek, Persian, Mongol, British, Russian, American, it doesn't matter, it's just a change of pace from fighting the clan across the valley.
The average Afghan has his own culture and he is fighting to preserve it , he doesn't want a Starbucks and McDonalds in every village.
If it were not for 09/11 we should be supporting them.
We used to have a culture worth fighting for as well.
Now however we are all just "citizens of the world" with nothing worth fighting for.
It's a real shame too.

It is not just our "rights" that are being eroded, twisted, and suppressed, but our very culture.
In Federalist #2 Publius talks about how God gave this one country to "one connected people" since the population were almost entirely of British descent, and were entirely of European culture.
Even as we became a "melting pot" we retained our Anglo/ European based culture and new comers adapted to that .
They did so proudly.
For decades now the Democrats have been working to change that with policies that block European immigration while favoring immigrants from Africa, Asia, and Latin America.
The refusal to enforce immigration law is just one aspect of this attack on American culture .
What they are destroying with their "citizen of the world" crap is the thing that makes us , the National "id".
As a nation we are now in the same position as Jack Nicholson at the end of "Cookoo's Nest" .
The only question is , are we Jack, or are we the Indian ?
