How do you prove what you could have done without sounding "gung hoe!"?   I am sure they had rent-a-cops there, but we all know that most of those are just for show anyways.  Even armed guards are for show.(very strick rules of engament.)

Use the examples of New Hope Church, That mall in Utah where the off duty cop stopped the shooter, and the Pearl Miss. incidents to show that an armed citizen has stopped or prevented mass shootings.
I have never seen a rentacop in a movie theater, it was one of the few places in Ca where I did not see one, they don't even have ushers any more, just a couple pimple faced minimum wagers selling tickets and popcorn.

The last time I was in one, they had them.  That was in 1999.  No plans to go into one any time soon.  Hell its been 9 years since I have evened ownd a tv.   A off duty cop is alot diffrent then a ccw holder. at least in the eyes of the general public and the leo community.

I read today that a duly licensed concealed carry holder in CO can ignore the "no guns allowed" signs in theaters.  I have not been able to confirm that.

I cannot find anything in our state laws that says I have to adhere to the signs in MA.  I simply ignore them if there are no metal detectors.  I've only seen two in all my years as a licensed citizen.  One was at the Toy-R-Us store at the mall that was just a 8-1/2 x 11 placard and the other at Bass Pro that suggested you check your sidearm at the counter.  I shopped at TRU without question and simply carried my sidearm through the BPS without incident.

CT does have stipulations for private business placards but nothing in MA as far as I can tell.

In NH all they can do is ask you to leave.
I think.
No one really knows because no business's have "No Guns" signs.
The only one I've ever seen was at the gun show I won't go to again.
Since there were no metal detectors I carried anyway.

Twenty five years ago, maybe longer, I was doing a decon job at GTE Sylvania in Manchester.  They made highway lights with thorium and really crapped up the place!  Any way, long story short, we worked for about a year deconning a machine shop settling tank and Chem lab of all the radioactive crap they'd "misplaced".  Every day we saw locals fully armed, cocked and locked and going about their day!  Not a man on the crew I worked with gave a shite about it....Citizens every one!

Live Free....you know the rest!

Sadly that's where the gun show was.  >:(
On the plus side, I have been in Manchester's "Catholic Medical Center" twice for heart problems and both times I had a pistol with me and no one said squat. I kept my clothes, no one asked and I saw no reason to mention it.  ;D

If you're ever in the neighborhood of GTE in Manchester.  Pull into the lot and take a look inside the transformer yard, inside the fence.  You'll see some concrete pylons with a bronze plaque on top of them.  We place those plaques to indicate "Buried Radioactive Material" inside the yard.  We processed at least 200 solidified 55 gallon drums of waste from that place but we couldn't get it all...

GTE can never, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever sell that property!   8)

Osram Sylvania...655 South Willow Street, Manchester, NH

You can almost make out the pylons on Google earth...

I've never been there.
Made parts for them though, and for the Exeter plant.
