Once again you are spot on and correct...An optimist would hope for and envisioned and  "awakened" electorate...A negative portion anyway is the "Where's my free shi*" and the Obama "stash" following supporters that will not relent, and vote for BHO regardless,.

Yes, the literal 40 something % (almost half) of this country simply does not "get it"....it's a damn scary number.

We may not recover, as a nation, we may be too far gone...

I hope I'm wrong, but will fight to see she does not go down quietly...

Sadly, I fear, without a huge economic collapse and/or open revolt, this country as we knew it and as envisioned by the Founding Fathers is lost.

And I fear even a huge economic collapse will not do it, unless it is the kind portrayed in Rawles' Patriots, as anything less than that will provide the .gov with more opportunity to become the focal point of everyone's lives for food, water, gas, and everything else we used to do for ourselves.
