The 16 inch barrel gives it away as a semi auto reproduction from Kahr Arms (They bought Auto Ord )

It says Auto-Ordinance Corporation, model 1927 A1 and it has the Thompson bullet logo on it. It came with the long hard case      and a regular magazine also. The next purchase is the violin case, that's a must have!! It's mine, all mine.....I let the old man have the M1 Carbine that came with it. He doesn't care.....he has his M1A!!!  Both guns cost me a thousand bucks, but it was worth it because I think Tommy is way cool!!

Auto Ordnance, owned by Kahr Arms in Worcester just south of me here in central MA, makes the reproductions of the Thompson.  Auto Ordnance is the original maker of the Thompson.  They make M1 Carbine repops and 1911's as well!

Did you get the aluminum lightweight or the standard?

Think of it as you paid a lot for the Thompson and got the Carbine free.
