Damn that makes me miss the good old days. (Kinda) I was dirt poor, trying to get through college, but between my day job, (sales rep for a really high end ski shop) and my dream job (sponsered climber for Marmot) I was paying 40% below wholesale for most of my gear, IF I had to pay anything at all. Unfortunately all of the rest of my disposable income went to paying off my credit card everytime we would take a trip. (Which was frequent) So I had to shut that life down. I learned that the only way to stay in that game is to keep pushing the envelope. Unfortunately the envelope trys to kill you, and after several close calls of my own and losing a few friends all within a few months, I decided to back off.
